Cameron Jerome is backing new manager Tony Pulis to keep Crystal Palace up.
The on-loan striker set up Barry Bannan to score the winner in Palace's 1-0 win over Hull on Saturday to lift them off the bottom of the table.
And the 27-year-old believes Pulis will make the Eagles tough to beat and can lead them to Premier League survival like he did at Stoke.
"People say it's a big ask to keep us up, but we're only three points off safety with 25 games to go. What sort of big ask is that?" said Jerome.
"What Tony will bring is experience and stability. He took Stoke up from the Championship and solidified them as a mid-table Premier League team, so his record speaks for itself.
"I'm sure he'll shore us up and we'll be more resilient and won't concede as many as we have been doing in recent weeks. The boys, I'm sure, will look forward to working with him and I'm sure Tony will look forward to working with us as well."
Jerome, who is on a year's loan from Stoke, criticised Pulis after his departure, saying he was ignored and that some players weren't unhappy that he left.
It seems the pair will have to make up as it's reported that Palace are unable to end Jerome's temporary move from the Potters as the loan fee is around £1million plus wages that is binding for the season.
Jerome added: "Tony will look at what he's got and make a decision on the team he wants to play. As a professional, you've just got to get on with it and train hard and, when you're selected, you've got to do your job.
"Unless Stoke call me back, my future is at Crystal Palace and I’m committed to being part of this."
