Hayden Mullins has admitted that Palace must win promotion to the Premiership for him to have any chance of being selected for England in the future.
Mullins has represented England at Under 21 level in the past, but dreams one day of representing his country at senior level.
He said: "I do hope to play for England one day, but because I am playing in Division One, I am out of the selection net.
Talking about team mate Clinton Morrison's first cap for the Republic of Ireland he said: "I am not jealous of Clinton. When I was playing in the Under-21s he was always encouraging me and backing me all the way. I will do the same for him. He deserves the recognition."
