The Ricoh Arena, Saturday 3.00pm
Palace will be without Julian Bennett after the left-back returned to parent club Nottingham Forest with his loan expired. Jonathan Obika's loan period has also ended so goes back to Spurs.
Midfielder Alex Marrow, who this week signed on a permanent deal after impressing on loan, hopes to shake off an ankle knock to play. Darren Ambrose and Pablo Counago are rated as "50-50" for the tie.
Claude Davis is available for selection after recovering from a hamstring injury. He could replace Anthony Gardner at centre half with Gardner agreeing to stay on loan from Hull until the end of the campaign.
Coventry striker Marlon King is suspended for the clash at the Ricoh Arena. Defender James McPake (back) and Ben Turner (knee) are injured.
Aidy Boothroyd
"Some people don’t play full strength teams in it but I think you have to respect the Cup.
"Each manager, depending on his league position and players he has available has to make decisions in the interest of their club, but we will be picking a team that will be as strong as we can and looking to win the game.
"The club has won it and there is a big history here and one of my big outcomes is to stop people talking about 1987 and start talking about a different year that is successful. We think we can have a good league season and a good cup run too."
"Staying in the Championship is the priority but that's not to say we aren't going to be taking the Cup very seriously. A good Cup run can do wonders for the confidence.
"Just look at what we did last season. Those games with Wolves and Villa really lifted the lads' spirits. They took our minds off the relegation scrap just for a little while and gave us a bit of breathing space.
"That's what we'll be saying again this week. We'll be looking to go up to Coventry to get the right result and make sure we are in the hat on Sunday.
"It's been a hectic few days, but we're getting used to that at this club. It's never a nice situation to lose a manager. We've been through quite a lot over the past year, with managers and players coming and going but we have to stick together and keep battling on.
"Dougie and Deano will do a great job while they're in charge and all we can do as players is try to put a smile on the supporter's faces with a few good results."
