Team news

Crystal Palace centre back Claude Davis is set for a recall to the side after serving a one-match ban for picking up five bookings this term. Lee Hills, who came in for the defender last time out, will drop to the bench.

Defender Paddy McCarthy (shoulder) is still out but right-back Danny Butterfield (hamstring) could return.

Sheffield Wednesday are missing Richard Hinds, who has a heel injury, while Michael Gray, Lee Grant and Tommy Spurr are rated doubtful due to illness. Luke Varney has gone back to Derby, so Leon Clarke is set to play alongside Marcus Tudgay up front.
