Italian giants Inter Milan have changed their mind and said they will now travel the UK for their four-match tour.
This means that Wednesday's friendly with Palace at Selhurst Park will kick off after all.
They decided to cancel their tour in England after the recent bombings in London, but have now reversed that decision.
Inter had been critisised after their withdraw from the pre-season tour and were even branded as "cowards".
Sports minister Richard Caborn has since held talks with his Italian counterpart Mario Pescante.
"It is very important that life goes on and sport is at the forefront of that," Caborn said.
"In London we had Grand Prix athletics and crcket this weekend. It is business as usual. We make no concessions."
