Selhurst Park landlord Ron Noades has told Crystal Palace that the price to buy the freehold is £12 million. Palace chairman Simon Jordan has been notified by Noades that that is how much he wants if Palace want to regain ownership of their home ground.
The former Eagles supremo Ron Noades however also told Jordan that Wimbledon's owners are also interested in buying the ground themselves.
Simon Jordan said this during a fans forum at Selhurst Park on Monday evening.
He also told the fans that he eventually wants to build a 42,000 stadium at the location of Selhurst Park. For that Jordan would need to buy the freehold but he is unlikely to press ahead because he feels the price is too high.
