That is the taboo. Been some noises made of late about perhaps banning it altogether in the UK as it is becoming a serious issue as the years go on. With the predominance of cousin marriage also linked to far wider societal problems such as corruption.

It is sad, incredibly so, and I believe all that can be done should be done to prevent any casualties in these situations. That shouldn't be too hard a sentiment to sell.

I do find the use of the word 'disparity' rather nefarious though. It is almost as if everything must be compared and if not 100% aligned this suggests that something is wrong and therefore blame must be apportioned and criticism shouted from the rooftops.

In any circumstance where you use the word 'disparity' with regards to race there is an inevitable inference that non-white individuals are victims of some appalling injustice and therefore white people, and racism, are to blame. You then, again very inevitably, get the subjective account of one or two people who of course have complaint and are encouraged to scrutinise every single aspect of their experience from the perspective that they were treated differently on the basis of race.

It's also amazing how the likes of the NHS are often cited as examples within the narrative supporting the need for immigration (to resource the workforce) however quickly turn into a far-right, 'white' dominated evil corporation in circumstances where it fits. As another poster mentioned, and having a currently 34-week pregnant wife myself, the maternity ward and professionals we have spoken to have almost been hand selected by the diversity campaigners and I was under the impression this is pretty much ubiquitous.
