9 year old girl shot and killed in Liverpool

Terrible news... According to the Police this is not domestic related and the gunman are not known to the family.
Don't waste your time with jealousy. Sometimes your ahead, sometimes your behind, the race is long. But in the end it's only with yourself!! |

I confess that when I first heard of this, I assumed it was some tacky but terrible scummy family drama playing out, death of the poor little girl not the less tragic for it but when the facts came out.... Horror beyond belief. And my understanding is that associates of the man who initially forced his way into the house due to being chased by a gunman took him to the hospital and left the little girl behind. Beyond scummish. The people involved need to be caught, prosecuted and then locked up forever.

Tragic, sad and gut-wrenching beyond comprehension. You just know this is going to be over something absolutely minor too, hardly 'godfather' stuff, a £500 drug debt or something. The phrase 'a special place in hell' seems fitting here, can't imagine the devastation and the distraught. RIP.
Now Zaha's got a bit of green grass ahead of him here... and finds Ambrose... not a bad effort!!!! |

By the way, as the police are so keen on the killers being identified, any chance that they might tell us the ethnicity of the suspects to aid their capture? Responsibility Deficit Disorder is a medical condition. Symptoms include inability to be corrected when wrong, false sense of superiority, desire to share personal info no else cares about, general hubris. It's a medical issue rather than pure arrogance. |
