Tough start a good thing

Given that it may take a few games for PV to get a settled side it may be better to play games that we are not expected to win (bar Brentford ) to get us settled for games against sides we can realistically enjoy some success

Indeed! No better time to play chels away than first game of season! The unexpected might suprise them, and we would probably have lost anyway later in season,(not forgetting Bentekes winner a few years ago on firework night-seemed like it anyway), but definately best to face them early.

Chelsea, West Ham, Tottenham & Liverpool all have extensive Euros/Copa America involvement too. United last year showed you can keep these teams out early doors when they've had a limited pre-season. That does, however, require us to bring the players in to have one ourselves!

 


26th January 2010 - Enter Administration
2nd May 2010 - D-Day 1 - Survival at Hillsborough
1st June 2010 - D-Day 2 - Survival at Lloyds
7th June 2010 - CPFC2010 exchange contracts.
