Not enough i know, Defense and Midfield need additions. But not Awful, some shrewd loans and a couple of buys might be enough?

If you look at the list of out of contract players, the following actually played regularly last season: Clyne Ward Dann Cahill PVA Mcarthy Townsend I would presume we will re-sign at least one of the right backs, one of the centre backs, and Townsend. That's four players we need to replace, though of course injuries are a factor. Eze is out for ages, and we have no obvious replacement. Tomkins has come back. Mcarthy was always injured, but hopefully, McArthur will be back. Altogether though I think four or five good signings (two or three permanents, plus loans) will get us in good shape. The obvious one to go for is Loftus-Cheek on loan to cover for Eze, though we need to be sure we don't want anyone else from Chelsea on loan first. Far from impossible, but we need the key signings (a younger central defender in particular) to come off.

If you look at the list of out of contract players, the following actually played regularly last season:

Clyne
Ward
Dann
Cahill
PVA
Mcarthy
Townsend

I would presume we will re-sign at least one of the right backs, one of the centre backs, and Townsend.

It's 16 players and Eze & Ferguson are long-term injured. Kouyate, Schlupp, Zaha & Ayew are all likely to play at AFCON. Therefore, we currently have 10 players available for January, of whom two are goalkeepers. The U23s barely got past Sunderland's second team so there'll be a couple that get a game, but they won't make an extensive contribution. Personally, I'm worried. 1st June 2010 - D-Day 2 - Survival at Lloyds
