Okay, so it didn't work years ago for Palace but enough time has flown by since then to learn and grow and you don't become the Manager of Netherlands national team on the back of being just an outstanding player in your day. I wish him well.

A good result for the Netherlands and a great game to watch. But FdB's gung ho style really does leave the back door open. From 2-0 up they really shouldnt have let Ukraine get back in the game. They were lucky to get all 3 points.

Jesus, have none of you lot ever had a job that was an absolute disaster? Maybe you got fired, maybe not, but it just didn't work out. So off you went, got another job, and did really well. I mean, sometimes jobs don't work out. Doesn't mean you're a lifelong failure in need of redemption.

If you are a disaster at football management, then moving onto another football management job doesn’t really bode that well for your future.
