Not good news. I think that we'll be safe as the article states that "SKY has blocked thousands of TV viewers from streaming its most popular shows online for free"

If the sites are based outside of the UK and you access them through a VPN I doubt there is much Sky can do. Their product is overly priced maybe it's time for the PL to take control: When Sky started it was delivering via satellite TV football clubs could not afford the infrastructure or the customer service costs. Today you can stream a TV channel via Freeview or the internet without huge technology overheads. The PL could have it's own TV company and allow BT and Sky et al access to it. They could save themselves a lot of money as they would own and broadcast the shows rather than taking a cut from Sky.

The Premier League has its own TV company, they sell the rights around the worlld, it has their logo in the top corner.

There’s prem football streamed via channels from across the Atlantic, the Middle East, Far East, and even a paid for Prem pass for about £200 I think. It doesn’t have to be watched via sky.
