What a difference a game makes!

After last week's performance against Everton half the posters on the Chelsea prediction thread were forecasting at least a draw. Now, it's back to doom and gloom.

I expected a serious beating by Chelsea, just disappointed by that first half capitulation. As for Leicester, I'm hoping we cans scrape a draw against them as we did in the home game, but expect a narrow defeat and with Citeh in the game after, I expect us to still be on 38 points with 5 games to play. I do expect us, though, to get past 40 points before t4he season's end.

With Newcastle winning and the way Fulham are playing (losing), the bottom of the league looks all but sown up. Given our prioritising of staying up over all else, which we have now achieved, I expect it will be hard for the players to get themselves up for this game as much as Leicester will. 1 - 3

The way we are playing (if you can call what we do as 'playing') I can see only 3 more pts (Sheff Utd) but even that could be optimistic remembering how we collapsed in our concluding games last season.

As we seem to be almost safe, now would be a good time to try out some of the youngsters and give the non performing oldies a rest.

Will he do it ? Of course he won't, not in his doddery old mind-set.

4-0 ... 442 .. race to 17th place is on. We won’t win another game this season. 12 players out of contract, I bet they can’t wait to get away from the Royball s show.

Both teams will be looking for a response after recent defeats. Rodgers is more likely to get one.
