Dundee's Evening Telegraph has a nice interview with Marina Speroni in which she talks about her love for the two clubs, and places, where Julian and she have lived and played football since coming from Argentina 20 years ago.
As a Dundee supporter who spend some of his childhood in South London supporting Palace I can identify with so much of this.

On the subject of Dundee FC, I recall central defender Iain Philip whom we signed from Dundee in the early 70s.Philip scored in the 2-0 home win against Chelsea, alongside Jim Cannon who scored on his debut. This was Malcolm Allison's first match in charge of us.

Didn’t he score a hat trick as a CB I believe against Colchester?Leg broken by George Best?

That would be Ian Evans you’re thinking of. There was a great photo from a match report of the game where Rachid Harkouk is being held back by a couple of teammates to stop him ripping Best’s head off.

And it finished Ian's career at Palace.
I was there that day, very close to where it happened. I had a season ticket for a standing enclosure at the front of the Old Stand. The incident was just in front of us, to the right. It was a hideous, appalling tackle. That was in October 1977 and Ian was out for two years. When he recovered he moved to Barnsley and was there four years.

That is a very wonderful article. I missed Julian S's Benefit being where I am but it sounded like a fantastic evening. Thank you Mr and Mrs Speroni👍🥂

Always remembering walking from the Holmesdale to the Whitehorse end at half time!
