I know the thread is about 'performances' rather than results, but I loved the sheer criminality of our win at Brighton, and the goals!

I’m with you exhibitionist, that game does tick all the boxes for being a total windup. The fact that the Brighton players were banking on Andros sending over a poor cross and Tekkers not being able to hit a donkeys arse with a double bass, was just beautiful 🤩

Next to stuffing your rivals the sweetest thing is to win when you don't deserve it. The thought of all those Brighton fans sobbing into their lattes and organic croissants. Tottenham at home second half I thought was our best performance - given the opposition and we were a goal down. We played proper attacking football (!) and deserved the late equaliser

I thought the Utd draw was a gutsy performance as well and reckon it should be shown to the players regularly as the perfect example of the expected weekly effort.

All those mentioned, I also enjoyed the Hammers away performance. On top playing good football in the 1st half with a WOW header from Tekkers. Looked likely winners, then conceded early 2nd half, tekkers sent off on 70 minutes, then dug in. Thought we were going to get overrun. Very satisfied with that, those points keep you out of trouble. WBA away and Sheffield at home the only 2 performances where we have looked a class above.

Southampton vs Liverpool. Would love Palace to get someone like JWP in the middle. Full on box to box midfielder who can pass and shoot straight. Love the way he gets under Wilf's skin in the first 5 minutes and takes him completely out of the game. Does it every time and we never seem to be able to figure it out.

Possibly the most boring season ever. Certainly in last decade. Even stopped watching on TV it’s so uninspiring. Shame really but guess it’s a results business as opposed to an entertainment business.
