...I hope we hire him. Great manager. Before he came, Brighton was playing like s***. I think they had the lowest possession and chances created in the Premier League. Now, even though they have few points, tehy're one of the Top 10 teams in the league. I sincerely doubt they will get relegated. But if they do and he gets fired, I would like him to manage Palace. 19 to 1 chances created in this match in the second half alone. More than double the passes of Palace, with a much higher accuracy. Ok, you could say that they lost and that we are above them in the league, but in the long term this style will definitely bring them more points.

He's a good manager, and I'd gladly hire him unless the chippy/cheap/dirty aspect of some of his players is a reflection of his approach. Brighton surely played fine football this evening, as they've been playing for many weeks. Man for man, though, Brighton look far more skilled than we do. Wilf & Eze excepted. As already said £240m spent on transfers, and not beaten Palace, Fulham, West Brom or Sheffield United at home. Two great result against a Liverpool team who are all out injured and an out of form Spurs. Look nice but don't do it, not sure if that is Potter's fault or they are limited by Bloom and their model.
One supporter of hacking argued that without it "you will do away with the courage and pluck of the game, and I will be bound to bring over a lot of Frenchmen who would beat you with a week's practice -Blackheath secretary at first meeting of the F.A |

It's just some accidents that they drew some matches in which they dominated heavily and only took 1 point from them instead of 3. Normally, they should have had 6-8 more ppints. Meanwhile we were vwry lucky to get some 1-0 wins when we shouldn't have and normally would have had less points. Some things are just accidents. In the long term, having a team that creates 10-15 chances per game is the guarantee of success. Being spent 240 million because they came from the Championship and had a s*** squad that they needed to change. He didn't bring any players that we couldn't have brought. But they can pass a ball and they work tactics and attacks.

You seriously think our playing staff are capable of the type of football Brighton play? I appreciate we have a number of contracts up at the end of the season but we would need pretty much a whole new team - except for the strikers ( as generally they don’t score). They came very close to being relegated last season and will come very close again this season. Do you think that’s the sign of a great coach? He is not a great coach because his team knows how to pass the ball. They have no idea what to do in the final 3rd and that’s his fault. The same thing happens to him every week, they have won 2 home games in 2 years and he still sticks to the same rubbish. He is naive and deluded.

And even if we were to in the future, I’d rather it be under a manager who’d get us pushing for Europe as opposed to fighting for survival. Despite the garbage you often hear from Palace fans, going down is actually really not worth it.

Very very few. Can only remember Guiata making 1 save. Tippy Tappy football may look pretty but gets to nowhere. Potter has his philosophy, fair enough, but should also be able to change when required. A good coach but nowhere near a great one. I am not happy the way we play but if it is just biding our time until squad overhaul I’m fine with it.

Now they are asking questions as to how effective it really is if they can't put the ball in the net enough. I know a number of their fans that would be quite happy to see Potter go.
