Rumours surfacing we are after the Swansea manager so i thought I would start a thread. I nothing about the man or whether he would be a good fit or even if Roy is leaving at the end of the season.

Let the comments begin.

Has strong FdB vibes for me.

Not a very well informed opinion I must say however, only a feeling.

Now Zaha's got a bit of green grass ahead of him here... and finds Ambrose... not a bad effort!!!!

Isn't he that comedian bloke on Radio Norfolk?

Not really. I'd prefer Frank, Thomas Frank. Looks like he could galvanise players and would consider it a step up. And he wouldn't have to move house either.

Seen comments on an article this morning that he isn't too tactically aware.

Could be disastrous or could be entertaining ?

Well he's doing a decent job of hiding it if so, play offs last year, competing for automatic places this year, plays the youngsters,

I don't know anything about him, but it seems very risky to me to hire him based on his work with U17s and with young Championship players, especially when we have the oldest team in the league.

Our only goal should be to stay up next season, and to do so, we will still need a squad with a lot of seasoned veteran players. I'm not sure how much respect Cooper would command with our current group.

The idea that we're going to get rid of half our squad, bring in a bunch of untested youth players, and then expect Cooper to keep us up is madness.

I'd rather have a manager who has experience in top level football.

I would prefer Tommy Cooper,he was welsh, but you cannot get a manager "just like that!"

This is Coopers managerial history
1998–2008 Wrexham youth
2008–2013 Liverpool youth
2014–2015 England U16
2015–2019 England U17
2019– Swansea City

Not sure what to make of it his personally, I know it’s only a rumour but you never know with CPFC. Surely there are other managers with better credentials no disrespect to Cooper. If you look at lower league managers Tomas Franks stands out,. Another interesting article I read that Frank Lampard would have to be offered an outstanding job to tempt him back into management based on his £1.8m Chelsea are paying him from his pay off. Then you have Eddie Howe no ties Premiership experience great advantage eager to get back into management.

Don't think so. Swansea's fans seem to regard his as tactically naive and slow to react.

I'd like to think Eddie Howe was higher on Parish's 'want' list. Thomas Frank looks a good bet too, not to mention that long haired guy Gareth Ainsworth at Wycombe. Not that I know anything about his credentials, but he has style.

Dad and I watched games standing on the muddy slope of the Holmesdale Road end. He cheered and I rattled.
