In 2013 my family, friends and loved ones were inside Wembley Stadium to cheer on Palace. We were among 82,025 people there.
I'll never forget the site of that awesome crowd.
Tonight I've just watched the BBC News from inside Croydon University Hospital. The message is loud and clear - No one is safe - Coronavirus is a killer.
If you want to have a chance of being at Wembley again please do as the young patient said on tv tonight "Be Careful, Take the Precautions Very Very Seriously". Stay away from people as much as you can.
Today the Covid death toll reached 81,960. Sadly tomorrow more family members, friends and loved ones will die bringing the numbers above that Wembley attendance. Keep that picture of Wembley in your head until we have all been vaccinated. Keep safe.

If covid was a football, Palace would be safe - they'd never be capable of passing it to eachother.

I have now sufficient funds to last me the rest of my life. Provided I don't buy anything.

I thought this was a football thread, but having read it realise the only chance we have of getting to Wembley again is if it becomes a vaccination centre.

Our best chance in footballing terms of reaching Wembley again is via the play-offs.

Milivojevic and Eze are certainly having a good try

look we had a good chance not so long ago in the 1/4s but our keeper couldnt catch a cold that day, cup runs happen always next year, the older ones had lots of visits to wembley to watch the mighty Palace from 1990 onwards, so have faith never know it may happen,(8 wembley visits and 5 losing semi finals since 1990)

These Premiership days are our best chances for the cup competitions. Sadly in present times we don’t seem to want it as a club. Think us older fans want it more as eventually we will be back in the lower divisions and the chances for winning silverware will be gone. Football for older fans is about history and “do you remember when” and we don’t have much of that regarding cup finals, let alone winning one. Having watched the Crawley game and a couple of others over the weekend and ours and now seen the 4th and 5th round draws I’m unhappy that we aren’t still in it and just looking from the sidelines yet again :-( I suppose if and when we go down the only chance will be a play off as has been mentioned. I liked the vaccination centre joke as being our only possibility :-)

The wolves game we did have a good team out there that could win, but wolves put a strong team out so someone at to lose, think most seasons we have played a team that can win cup matchs just the players didnt play well on the day or no luck, thats palace, im sure theres another 14 clubs in our lge that would love a cup run

There are 8 clubs currently in 'Division One' which once ploughed their furrows in the PL.
I suspect their supporters would wish they were back in the PL.
Our supporters might criticise our style of play, our ambition etc etc but we are in the PL and have been in it for a few seasons.

Very true and with at least three clubs failing to meet our standards, likely to remain in the Prem for at least another season.
