We conceded two foul throws within minutes. How sloppy is that! Really poor!

Just shows the whole could not really be bothered attitude of the team.

Schoolboy errors and just sloppy.

We were just purely outplayed by a much stronger team, they out marked us to the extent that our throw ins were totally pointless anyway and our players just knew it, that's why it happened.

Oh that’s fine then. We may aswell do the same home and away v the top 6.
If our attacks are looking pointless , we should just give the ball to the opposition on the half way line aswell. Players on 50 grand a week each, maybe they shouldn’t ‘just know it’ and try a different tactic? Just a thought

Well we can now add 'Can't take a throw-in' to Can't pass, can't cross, can't control the ball and can't shoot.
I'm getting used to being embarrassed to be Palace.

Ever heard of players finding space. It is 11 vs 11. They are not a much stronger team, they wanted it more and we had no plan whatsoever to play against their high press. Whose tactical fault is that?

No don’t bother answering that because you will say it’s the players fault that they are not tactically prepared for the game.

This morning my dear wife was subjected to bellicose diatribe regarding our foul throws, the inability to trap a ball near the touchline and our general torrid performance.

I was in a hissy fit and my fulmination was high-decibel.
The poor lady told me in no uncertain terms to "Button it", that she had ENOUGH of my ranting about the game and then proceeded to adorn some warm clothes and walk out of the house.

I should stop "supporting" Palace if I were you Willo
because with all these bellicose diatribes and ranting will put you into stroke territory soon enough.

I have been supporting our club since the 60s through all the peaks and troughs, sometimes in front of sparse crowd at Selshurst Park in all weathers.

I have followed the team away from home availing of the 'Rail Travellers' club run by the late Maurice Drewitt, the coaches organised by the club, public rail services and cars driven either by myself or fellow supporters.

I believe with the passage of time I have just become more and more irascible and unforgiving and less tolerant and hyperventilating and steam coming out of my ears is not uncommon at present.Self-combustion and tonsils leaving my moorings normally follows an abject defeat.

My first match was Xmas Day 1946 when we won 6-1 but being Palace went to Torquay for the return fixture on Boxing Day and lost. Believe me there were some grim times watching Palace in the following years until a certain gentleman named Arthur Rowe with his push and run philosophy and the arrival of a young Johnny Byrne started the revival. We, in the bottom tier of the league. were attracting crowds in the 30.000's. Now we are in one of the best leagues in the World. We have played and beaten the likes of Liverpool, Manure, Man City, Chelsea, Spurs, West Ham so the last eight years have been marvellous and something I could have only dreamed about when watching Palace at the likes of Walsall, Southend, Torqay etc etc.

Now approaching the last years of my life I have learned to take the rough with the smooth and can't get worked up just because we lose a game of football.

Try it before you have a heart attack over a game of football!

My goodness, your first game was before I was born ! I came into the world in 1952.

As my dear wife and daughter keep saying "It's only a game of football" which is normally followed by my robust response!
Perhaps I should have the good sense to take their and your advice instead of working myself into a lather and venting my spleen.

Our throw ins have been c**p for years. If they are legal they tend to end up in the possession of the opposition
