Match of the day last night, last match on against a top 4 side in form, 2 goals, saved penalty and still on after a 0-0,why don't they like us?

This operation, will make the 'Charge Of The Light Brigade' seem like a simple military exercise. |

I never get the problem with being on last, it seems a constant issue with palace fans tweeting Gary Lineker or generally moaning about it.....am I the only one who has a Sky Q box and can record it and jump straight to our game?

I don’t know why anyone watches match of the day anyway, punishing themselves by having to watch extended highlights of their favourites and having to listen to those sycophants.

Tbh, I have watched so much dreary live yawnball on TV this past week a condensed highlights programme is more than welcome ... I can even fast forward if it becomes too tedious.

Thats great I would hate us to be motd faves. Wilfs finish was class. But quite happy to be under the radar , especially as January window approaches.

Maybe, because we were actually on the BBC live on Monday!

There were two Monday games giving a 50/50 chance of us being on last. Chelsea vs Villa is likely to have a significantly bigger following than Palace v Leicester with no Vardy, and we (allegedly) played on Saturday live on the BBC. The build up to the game on Saturday received a decent amount of coverage from the beeb as they tried to sell it to audiences. Fair decision, nothing to see here.

A lot of our own fans struggle to watch our games under Roy, so it would be understandable if neutrals didn't to watch them either! I don't think many of the stalwarts of MoTD like Palace though, which could be to do with the Shearer/Zaha debacle when Parish publicly called out Sir Alan on social media. The Scouse ones I think are still pi$$ed that we had a hand in stopping Gerrard winning a title. Living abroad I don't bother trying to find MotD online anymore, instead just watching the games live. What bothers me here is the constant use of Ian Wright for punditry when we are playing. For whatever reason he seems to go out of his way to pick fault in the team, our performances and Roy. Did Roy sleep with his wife or something? He certainly seems to be doing everything he can to distance himself from us.

For instance, this Palace side has had years in the Premier League and has talented players - is the team a patch on the 1990 side, however? No.

No. I agree with all of that, but what I meant by that is he doesn't seem to show any affection for the club. He is a man who wears his heart on his sleeve and yet even when we win or play well he seems to take little pleasure in this. I want to see more Clinton and less Wright!
