Lucky we played.

We were lucky to have played Southampton and Fulham early in the season,as I think if we played them now six points probably wouldn’t be the outcome.Sometimes luck is involved a lot in meetings due to teams on bad runs or injuries etc.

The other side of the coin is that we played Liverpool when they decided to give someone a football lesson.

Good point. Balances out generally. Our league position wont lie at the end and, disappointing as Saturdays result is I dont think we'll finish anywhere near the bottom 3.
Every now and again a thumping gets handed out by one of the top teams. Sadly it was us that were on the end of it this time. As Steve Coppell will testify, its how you respond that counts.

Again!!! 9-0, 5-0 twice, 6-1 now 7-0 and we were supposed to be their bogey team!!
