Bill Edgar (their football statistician) has predicted He says will get 7 points from our next 5 matches: He also predicts Southampton to be top of the table with 36 pts and that Fulham, West Brom & Sheff Utd will lose all their 5 matches. I'll be happy with that, being a pessimistic fan for 70 years, as we will then need only a further 16 points to achieve safety ! Others I suspect will hope for more.

So far we have averaged 1.4 points per game so Edgar is using that formula to predict 7 point. I think our form is improving so providing Eze and Zaha stay fit I am going for 10 points.

I would be delighted if that happened, our results and the fact that we would move further away from the relegation zone.

That recent point against Brighton was tarnished by the performance and how undeserved it was. We could lose 4-0 to Chelsea and I won't mind so much, but the manner of a defeat and the attitude we show in games is what does it for me. I believe that Bill Edgar has not factored in the undeniable kindness Palace show to teams who haven't won all season, and we will get done 3-0 by the Blades. Have they got a nag that hasn't scored in 3 seasons? He'll be getting a hattrick.
