Arrived with a fan fair, going to be our new wonder kid, earning a lot of money, played a few games and now not even on the bench! herd we will try and off load in January.what has gone so wrong.

He is learning how to shield the ball and run with it and more importantly how to put some weight into his muscles, then I wouldn't be surprised to see him on the bench.

very good player but just like riedwald being overlooked. for some reason we dont want a midfielder who is really good at passing the ball, and given a chance good at attacking.

Max has the same Palace career path as Sorloth and Camarasa. Success elsewhere, never gets a chance here, then success elsewhere. Not saying Max is a great player, but the only way to tell is to let him start 3-5 games in a row. Roy played him 5 minutes as a sub here and there. The rare chance he got, he didn't make the most of it. But then again, Riedewald won player of the month for us last year, and was immediately benched. Our lineup often makes no sense is what I'm trying to say. I'm sure our players are just as confused as we are.

In his last two seasons with Schalke he managed one goal and two assists. The number of 90 minutes he completed wasn’t particularly impressive either. Then there were tthe apparent question marks regarding his attitude and the manner in which he left. Hardly the creative force.

Simple. He’s isn’t good enough. All he ever does is take and pass the ball. To be a top ten premier league team attacking midfielder you have to be able to dribble/travel with the ball somewhat. He has never done it.
