Saw on BBC sport headline ‘Chelsea hammer Sheff Utd’ . Score was 4-1.
Just a footnote ‘Palace beat Leeds’

The gist of the BBC text coverage was that Palace could have scored 6 or 7 but Leeds were unlucky...
Ha ha ha

Closing edits were brilliant - showed lots of the goals from the other games.

The two they showed from ours was the deflection and Bamford’s offside goal.

Yesterday, it was mentioned that Chelsea and Man Utd won whilst Leeds lost!!

Ha ha ha

Leeds were unlucky. VAR goal was a shocker and our bizarre 3rd goal came at a time when Leeds were in the ascendency.

Great win for Palace but the margin did flatter us

Christ we get enough non Palace fans giving the opposition too much credit win, lose or draw.
For the record, I disagree. Because they were in 'the ascendency' you think they were unlucky? Rubbish. We've been the better team and ended up losing on more occasions than I can count over the years. I've hardly ever thought we were unlucky. If we score less goals than the other team we dont deserve to win. Luck has nothing to do with it.
The only bad luck Leeds had which I acknowledge is Bamford's goal should have stood but then again no one seemed bothered when Everton were awarded a pen when the ball smashed in to Joel Wards arm. This is the age of VAR. We are all suffering injustices. Why should Leeds suffer less than the rest of us?

Pfff

And we were only second on M ot D. This is clearly a North/South bias as the first match not only took place in the North West but was with two sides from the North West.

And where are the BBC based? Yup the North West - you just could not make this stuff up.

Bit like a few other things. This China disease for example, clearly favours the North as more up there have got it. Also the rain. They always seem to get more.

Its a scandal!

They were having a coronary on the Bamford disallowed goal saying it was the very worse decision that VAR had ruled on. Well we have had far worse go against us this season. Batsman has had 2 ridiculous decisions go against him on disallowed goals. Not to mention that Wardy joke of a handball against Everton.

It's madness that it has been called that. VAR actually got it right, it is the law that is wrong. The same with the Ward handball.

There have been a number of times where the ref and VAR got it completely wrong, by definition these are the worse decisions. Pickford against Liverpool and the no goal for Sheffield United against Villa spring to mind.

It's 106 miles to Chicago, we got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark... and we're wearing sunglasses.

It winds me up when Wilf is referred to as an “ex-Man United player”. He played in 4 games for them versus 300 for Palace.

you need to take a chill pill mate. I didn't say they deserved to win, i said the margin of victory flattered us.

If you think otherwise, so be it, i would like to wear your red and blue tinted glasses.

Yes VAR is a joke it works both ways - Sakho goal v villa was a joke as was the Everton handball. However, it got us the winner at West Ham and the recent penalty at Man U - that not one person in the ground or on TV saw in real time.
