Palace at home this season

1. start slowly with no intensity so opposition get into the game early and grow in confidence - tick

2, play with 3 defensive midfielders with no creativity - tick

3. leave 1 striker up top isolated - tick

4. Zaha is part statue on LHS - tick

5. Partly due to lack of squad depth don't make any effective subs and no plan B - tick

6. Poorly executed set pieces - tick

7. Barely create a chance in 1st half so no goals scored - tick

8. lose a game that on paper was very winnable - tick

Couldn’t have put it better myself, only here it’s set out more concisely.

Shocking performance no urgency at all, having said that Ayew should had scored and Guaita should really have saved Mees header.
It seems that now they are safe they can just turn up, very winnable match last night and quite possibly the last game this season to fall into that category.

Roy says we wasted the first 45 minutes - can't disagree, but surely that's most home game this season e.g Southampton, Brighton etc

AS I recall, against So'ton we wasted 90 mins and against Brighton it was about 75 mins. as to the other home games, it's true to say we wasted most first halves.

First half was sh1t. We were the better team throughout second half. Their goal a bit of a fluke. Football innit.
