You could see today,, we are crying out for a creative midfielder who could see a pass and play a pass.. like old Rooney did today... Tight box play, slow build up and predictability in Palace play... Time for Plan B & Plan C..

A lot of people seem pretty shocked that we fielded such a strong side, and with good reason.

i tell you what, i thought rooney was fantastic today, playing just in front their defensive line. he was spraying world class balls all over the gaff. he will get into double figures for assists for derby easily before the end of the season he was passing balls which were to intelligent it caught the derby players out a couple of times, we are CRYING out for a player with this creative ability if he was in our side he would be pinging balls into bentekes path ALL day long, benteke after a couple could potentially turn into a world class striker!!!!!! I didn't see many Palace players trying to make runs. Neither did I see many Palace players looking for anyone who might be making runs. Bitterly disappointing today.

What a ridiculous set of comments. Where is this 2nd team talked about, we are short of 25 in the squad in case it hasn’t been noted there are 8-9 injured and then the skipper decides to have a melt down. I agree when all fit we don’t go for it in games but to be fair Roy gets results although often quite boring to watch. Today’s defeat is largely down to under investment in the playing staff. We go into a season with 2 strikers, 1 of which seems to have forgotten how to score, is lazy and seems disinterested. Parish wake up, you sell the RB before you have replacement, no cover at left back. We have little quality and without Wilf no invention.

Totally agree it showed again no wilf no idea if he goes so will our chances of staying in premier we may survive this season but odds on for next season's drop unless Roy can get us 38 nil nils to give us a small chance of survival.Unfortunately if wilf goes Roy will have to follow as we can't play his style with no wilf as only outlet for attack

By the sounds of things I am just as frustrated as others with us being the least threatening team in the country but I would only condone Roy moving on if we were to invest in the playing staff and that's not going to happen. That said was there any harm in giving Daly/Kirby/Camarasa a run out yesterday at least?
Now Zaha's got a bit of green grass ahead of him here... and finds Ambrose... not a bad effort!!!! |
