In the light of some strong performances in the face of adversity, see no reason why we should not win and achieve an incredible 30 points on the board.
Going for a 2-1 Palace win against the bottom side, who I am sure, will put up quite a fight.

Watched the Norwich Spurs game, Norwich look a decent side, if they do go down Arrons and Cantwell at least look good propects

prior to our last two games I would have fancied Norwich strongly, their performances of late have not got the results they deserve, and we've been digging deep to get results, don't fancy a win, another useful away point most likely.

As long as our defending players keep their minds on the ball and prevent themselves from passing inside and across the rear when being closed down we should be able to grab one goal from somewhere, mistakes happen though especially when opposing teams know we like to allow them.

They look decent against teams that play possession football with decent counter attacks . Less so against teams that sit back and goad them into playing football themselves .

We fall into the later , 2-0 to the Palace ,

Happy new year

Not sure on this one. We should be strong enough for all three points but they are a side which keep trying to score and sometimes that pays off. We on the other hand are a team that struggles to score even though we try and have the injury issue. I guess I am going for another score draw. 2-2

We do not sit back as much as you imply, we like to play prod and poke and try to wear teams down and we do this quite well because of our organisation along the back, at Southampton I was a little concerned with our lack of movement going forward after the cock up because we basically allowed them to get at us far too easily, although it was obvious they would have a real go at the end anyway.

Happy new year

Norwich have only won 2 of their 11 PL games at home, both early in the season, but they play an expansive game and have the ability to cause us real problems. They have conceded quite a few goals at home but we are not a team to capitalise on their shortcomings in this area.I would be happy with a point, indeed an average of a point a game from our remaining fixtures will see us survive.

We still haven't lost to a team in the bottom half of the table, but tomorrow may depend on who we can get onto the pitch. If Townsend were to return I could see us winning 2-1. Without and I could see another 1-1.

Apart from Newcastle of course although they are just in the bottom half!

I just hope we have 11 fit players for the 11 positions. Jimmy Mac will hopefully be back and it remains to be seen whether PVA was taken off as a precaution or a full blown injury. I think we really miss Townsend as his presence stops teams overloading Wilfs position although Max did ok for first 60 last game.

I’m going for a 1-1 draw.
