CPFC have been in the EPL for 7 years. Why are they so strapped for cash? Is it just that players' salaries are so exorbitant?
I have now sufficient funds to last me the rest of my life. Provided I don't buy anything. |

I would imagine the club is being run in a manner to maximise it's success on and off the pitch, otherwise it'll be a waste of time ..we are a very organised average team miles away from Southampton and being where we are (which is safe) means the club is actually able to now concentrate on other matters, this is probably our most successful period in this league and all due to Mr Hodgson, we need to take a deep breath and realise who we are and be thankful of where we are.

Didn't mean to sound nasty! It appears strapped for cash to me because of a reluctance to enter the transfer market and poor stadium facilities.

78 Percent of our turnover goes on wages. Only Everton are equivalent. Hope that helps you.

In recent windows, financial fair play regulations have limited what we could spend. After the last window,Director of Football Dougie Freedman stated that players available at our price range in positions we need to fill weren't good enough / good enough value. We are also spending heavily on plying catch-up with the academy at present. I'm not sure strapped for cash is exactly the the problem.

Wasn't it us that pushed the bar upwards by selling Wan-Bissaka for £50m and then complaining when other clubs valued their own right backs upwards in the light of the new benchmark Originally posted by Charles
I'm not sure strapped for cash is exactly the problem. Then why have we had to take funding from an Australian bank secured against the future payments due from Manchester United

This operation, will make the 'Charge Of The Light Brigade' seem like a simple military exercise. |
