Ok, am getting a bit carried away, but it’s so nice to go to home games and walk away with points after six seasons of crap home form.

A year at Selhurst, W7, L8, D7, F23, A22 ....
..since 9th Feb after a 3-1 loss to Man.U we have W5, D4, L2, F16, A10 ..five goals in one game though.

From 10th Feb 93, unbeaten six games..
Villa 1-0
Coventry 0-0
Chelsea 1-1
Liverpool 1-1
QPR 1-1
Middlesbrough 4-1

After that 4-1 win our next home game was against Man.U 0-2 ..but followed it up with that infamous 3-1 win against Ipswich that seemed to seal our hopes of avoiding relegation ..I was gleefully celebrating in the Arthur Wait ....then along came Oldham Athletic! ..with just three games to go They had to beat Villa who were fighting for second spot and Liverpool who were no push overs and to top it Southampton who themselves had to win to avoid going down, they won all three and down we went on two goals.

Great to see, although I agree with Roy that we arguably put in better displays last season at home than we have so far this season but weren't rewarded. Such is football.

I thought Norwich were very naive. Coming to Selhurst as open as they were was always likely to see them lose. Everyone in the league knows that if you put two banks of four in front of us we struggle, and I fear that it could be a long season for them if they keep on playing like that in every game.

Not that I'm complaining! If we beat West Ham I'll be getting my map of Europe out!

Far far too many times we wasted great goal scoring opportunities and we sadly still are, such thin lines as Watford fans now fully understand. Norwich probably thought they'd take advantage of our generosity in front of goal and quite obviously didn't take McArthur and Milivojevic seriously enough.

Everton, Aston Villa, Wolves, Norwich. We've had a good run of home fixtures, let's see what happens when the bigger sides turn up.

When we are 1-0 up we still don't get enough players in the box, too scared of conceding rather than killing teams off.

It worked in the end yesterday but Norwich are poor away from home. Would like to Roy take the shackles off at home like Bournemouth last season.

Still a good start to the season though and if we hadn't let that goal in against Wolves we would be third.

Since early Feb.

2-0 Fulham    3
1-1 West Ham.  1
1-3 Man Utd
1-2 Weed
2-0 Hudds.  3
1-3 Citeh
0-0 Everton.   1
5-3 Bournemouth.    3
0-0 Everton.   1
1-0 Villa    3
1-1 Wolves.     1
2-0 Norwich.   3

19 points in 12 games.
unbeaten in 6... 12 points in those 6.
of the 3 defeats.  2 were the mancs.

and we are basically putting out the same 11 as last season bar, arguably, the best RB in the division.

if you had to pick a deserved winner for every home game this season, I would say that team would be palace.

and people slag off Roy. It's a miracle I tell you...A miracle.

Just imagine if we had a scorer (without wishing to belittle Ayew).
