Now the weekend is behind us let's not forget we have 8pt from 6 games.

Unbeaten at home in 3 games

If we maintain that form we will have we will be celebrating Xmas with 24 pts and 20 games left, much better than our usual first part of a season.

Wolves was a cruel blow, the opposite of when Antonio failed to go to the corner and we grabbed a last minute equaliser against West Ham.

That's football, that's Palace.

Would like to know what's happening with Camarasa, not even on the bench.

Responsibility Deficit Disorder is a medical condition. Symptoms include inability to be corrected when wrong, false sense of superiority, desire to share personal info no else cares about, general hubris. It's a medical issue rather than pure arrogance.

That’s what I said to someone recently, considering how s*** we were against Berlin,Sheffield and spurs and considering we got knocked out of the league cup by a 4th division team, we’re not doing too bad really

I've said the same thing, but at the same time I'm torn because there are glaring problems that need to be addressed. As for the Wolves game, on one hand we were unlucky, on the other did we even have a shot the entire first half?

A worry that we're going to hit a real bad patch, but every point counts and on that front, we're not in bad shape at this point all things considered.

The frustrating thing is that had we signed a quality striker and a couple of new fullbacks we could have been doing even better. What worries me though is that the performances have not really been there. In the last two seasons we had some poor luck and there were a number of games where we dominated but just didn't take our chances. This season it feels we're perhaps riding our luck a little and are at times too workmanlike.

Suspect most people would have been happy if told after six games we’d be level on points with Tottenham, Chelsea and Man U and would have beaten one of them away.

My concern is that we've put in two of our worst ever performances under Roy this season - Sheffield Utd and Spurs - and so we need to be ruthless when we have the opportunity to actually take some points (i.e. don't f*** up and end up drawing against 10 men at home).

Also, we have a thin squad in key positions, and if Ayew gets injured up front or either of our full-backs gets injured, we're in trouble. Injuries will hit and there will be runs of games when we'll struggle with the personnel we have - so it's essential not to f*** up like we did at the weekend.

Some valid concerns on this page, especially from bangell and dollarsays.

we’re palace, we’ll always have problems, we always make hard work of it, as usual we’ve just got to grind out 40 points and we can do it all again next season

Interesting contrast with two years ago.6 games and no points/goals from memory and yet still finished mid table. I am sure SP will want Roy to stay as long as possible and why not?

After the Norwich game, we have a very tough run of 6 games against 4 of top 6 plus West Ham and Leicester ( now McGuires gone no easy 3 points). A points hall of nil is very possible from these games.

Then we have a run of far easier games until after New Year. 3 points against Norwich is a must or we could slip into the bottom 3 by November.

Given our first 6 matches, I'd say we're 2 points down on where I'd have expected us to be. Although given our lack of signings in needed areas I'm amazed we have anything.

My thoughts entirely, the bad performance at Sheffield and the terrible player management against Wolves may cost us dearly after the next couple of months matches against better opposition. Spurs was an expected defeat even though the performance was bad. I’m not hopeful for the fourth coming matches. The Jan transfer window will be needed to get us out of trouble in my opinion. I’m not even hopeful for Norwich this Saturday :-(
