I wonder if the coaching staff keep a stat on how often we lose possession within one or two touches after our own throw in. Seems to be the majority of times but I have no facts to support this but seemed Liverpool did much better in this aspect
Responsibility Deficit Disorder is a medical condition. Symptoms include inability to be corrected when wrong, false sense of superiority, desire to share personal info no else cares about, general hubris. It's a medical issue rather than pure arrogance. |

They’ve been shyte for years and years and years. Too slow, lethargic, no urgency or confidence. The opposition are sometimes just given a free throw and pass back to thrower which is even more pathetic.

Think it's the case that every team thinks they have s*** throw ins because you notice the crap ones and not the decent ones. The idea that we have an institutional problem over years and years with throw ins despite different managers, players and playing in different leagues shows this.

TFM last season was terrible at throw ins, I think he lost every single one. PVA and AWB are better, but not by all that much. Wardy is very good, barely any lost. Agree with the sentiment that we tend to take too much time, all the time. Would be nice to see some quick ones sometimes, as keeps the opposition scrambling.

After the rise in demand for keepers with good distribution in order to retain possession, wouldn't be surprised if this was the next thing the likes of Guardiola start thinking about from a tactical standpoint.
We were somewhere around Barstow, on the edge of the desert, when the drugs began to take hold... |

Join the club - ours are pretty awful too. Mind you most of our set plays are - bit of a shock when we scored form one against Brighton!

The last Palace player to produce an effective throw in was Bobby Woodruff.

I seem to remember Lee Hills having a very long and accurate throw.
