Just got to give credit where credit is due...as I was not his biggest fan a few moths ago...

Just watched the last couple of Palace games again, and PVA really seems a rejuvenated player.

He bursts forward with incredible pace and gives as a different dimension on the left hand side of the pitch. OK, I know his defensive play still needs work...but you can that he is totally dedicated to the cause and has that all important passion.

For me on his game he is superb so long may it last. If you look at the buys Sam made all have done very well. Schlupp looks a better player as a wide left midfield as opposed to full-back so thanks Sam not to mention Mr Palace Milo!!!

Funny how people rush to give Sam credit for these deals and then scream "sack the board" after a bad window.

BS signings are the fulcrum of the side.

They are all good and long-term.

Also affordable (just about).

Perhaps that is no longer the case and we really have lacked young players coming through like AWB, how many have we missed.

Yes and you need a good mix really rather than jumping from one policy to another.

Reminds me a bit of Eddie McGoldrick - some games he doesn't seem to do much, but then he'll go off on a run and in 15 seconds or less can change the game.

Obviously come good recently as I didn't see that at the horrorshow of Ashton Gate, although nobody apart from Sako came out of that one. Still unsure why we paid £26 million on 2 left sided players. They have both contributed but some of the money could of been better spent on other areas such as a striker. If we had got 3 Luka's then that would of been a different matter. Jedi like.

You won’t think that next season when we spend the kitty on boosting other areas and retain both PVA and Schlupp. Recruit strongly in the summer and we could be starting to put a very tidy squad together.

He also used to be injuryprone, but after a few games on the trot PVA (and Tomkins) both seem to be stronger and fitter. Long may it last, with PVA and our gem on right back we're well equipped in back 4.

This summer is going to be very tough. Probably our toughest so far and possibly the toughest until we perhaps sell Zaha. Loans will be key again seeing as we're losing 2 decent ones this season who would cost to buy.

It will be a chance to ship out some dead wood though, apart from Mutch.

AWB looks like a decent replacement for TFM.

Have we really missed RLC over the last few months either?

We need to bring in 5 or 6 decent squad players, and keep the players that we have (including Benteke and most of the out of contract players).

Perhaps pick over the bones of Stoke, West Brom and Southampton, West Ham or Huddersfield; depending on who finally goes down. My money is on Huddersfield.

Most important to retain Roy.
