can somebody on here please explain something very confusing. Why is it that whenever a protagonist is in a one-to-one meeting with somebody at their desk in an office, there is always a glass of whiskey involved ? Even when the movie setting is a time or place that is relatively dry ? telly producers would have premier league bosses meeting their players in the office and all quaffing the hard stuff at ten in the morning. Narcos, Blade runner, death of Stalin, Sopranos, the king's speech, Munich, bridge of spies, james bond, madmen, inglorius basterds, Tinker Taylor soldier spy, the wild geese, etc etc etc. Always whisky, rarely any other Spirit, nor tea or coffee, water nor even beer.
