A question for my fellow Eagles fans living far from home...

Do you use a VPN for watching UK TV?

If you do, which VPN do you use & how happy are you with it?

I've been using Hotspot Shield for ages but BBC iPlayer no longer works with it (all other UK TV is fine) and I'm looking for a better VPN that still works with iPlayer.

Thanks.

I use smartydns so you may either just change the DNS or install full vpn.

ExpressVPN.

It works with my Mac - there is a PC version. Now and again the Iplayer stops working, so I contact ExpressVPN straight away on their online chat and they advise which new location to use.

Works really well.

I've heard that BBC have been blocking shared IP addresses used by VPNs. Some VPNs offer upgrade service where you receive a dedicated IP address that only you can use. Or wait for your provider to change the IP address

I have prepared one of my own time capsules. I have placed some rather large samples of dynamite, gunpowder and nitroglycerin. My time capsule is set to go off in the year 3000. It will show them what we are really like.

It's true I think. Definitely Hola and Windscribe.

Seems like most vpn providers including mine 'strong' are now not working. I guess eventually they will solve the iplayer problem. At the moment 'bullet' vpn and 'express' vpn are your best bet as they are still letting you connect to iplayer

Nord VPN seem to be at the top in reviews. They currently do a very good deal at 3.23 dollars a month for a 24 month contract.

It does look good and is highly rated.
Do you use it? If so what's your experience of it?

I was going to get them and then discovered our internet provider in North Cyprus has a free VPN service, which seems to be working OK.

When it doesn't anymore I will consider Nord VPN.
