- Dr Atkins the nutritionist who created the diet of the same name. Rumoured to be morbidly obese at the time of his death, although there is some controversy about this.

- Any king or general who has fled the battlefield before sounding a retreat, too numerous to mention.

- theresa May for first opposing Brexit and then becoming its champion after the public had voted.

- cristiano ronaldo for declaring himself 'just a slave' while at Manchester United.

we will not include jimmy savile for all his childrens charity work because monsters are not welcome in the hypocrites section.

I think May has been harshly treated on that score. Yes, she's a f**king awful PM. Yes, she royally screwed up the election. But she made it known that she personally favoured staying in the EU during the debate, but the vote went the other way and as a public servant she is now actioning that decision. If that makes her a hypocrite, then every remain MP should resign (as they have all remained in government and are pushing through Brexit despite thinking it's wrong)
