Me and my ad are both Palace Fans and were recently talking one day and he asked me if I remember the first Palace game he took me too. It was Gillingham away a friendly, I remember the score it was 2-2 and I remember who scored Gillingham's goals but not Palace's. Obscure I know but I dont suppose anyone was there and remembers? Marc Edworthy comes to mind as one of them for some reason.

I was there but cant remember the scorers, I remember Hessenthalers number two getting a bit ripe with his language until a few in the main stand told him to STFU.

Ade Akinbiyi netted twice for Gillingham who led 2-0 before half-time!! Simon Rodger scored after 75 mins and Edworthy rifled home a 25-yarder four minutes later. Palace gave Kevin Miller his debut coming on for the second half(as per Croydon Advertiser).
