Pardew as England manager? It is the poisoned chalice position. Eddie Howe or Glenn Hoddle (minus his former spiritualist sidekick) Pardew is too early for the position and needs to prove himself more so in the top flight.

With respect,Pardew has more than proved himself at a high level.Look at his early achievements at Newcastle,winning LMA title and experience in Europe.Probably had a better CV than Fat Sam and is vastly more experienced than Howe,another contender for the vacancy.My only hope is that the FA hate his rather embarrassing dancing routines,as per the Cup Final,and look for a better mover!!
