I thought the book I read about 5 years ago was his autobiography. He briefly mentioned playing for Palace in it.

Wasn't he on BBC breakfast talking about it this morning?

Maybe he's added a new chapter. I have Bono's autobiography that some joker at work bought me in the Secret Santa a few years ago. I can't help thinking it needs to be re-published to cover the last few years of being utterly unimportant.

Too true!

Here is the one I have read:

Quite decent but as I say, talks more about Arsenal than Palace (although I don't entirely begrudge him that).

Blah blah blah Arsenal blah blah blah never mentions Palace enough blah blah blah! We've never had a striker and never will have a striker anywhere near as good so good luck to him!

Peter Simpson and Johnny Byrne I'll give you before the coffin dodgers pipe up!

Read some exerts from the book last week. Firstly the opinions I formed have nothing to do with him as a footballer. I was very young when he played for palace so couldn't comment on whether he was the great player people say he was while he was with us . What left an impression on me was what an absolute tool he sounds as person. Kids all over the place , one of which he pays for but has nothing to do with. Completely irrelevant to his career but I sat there and thought what a t***
