What always impresses me when watching him run is that his rivals all look to be bursting a gut with arms and legs all pumping away like manic pistons whilst he glides across the line apparently still only in 3rd gear.

The Canadian bloke in his semi final trying to do the same and look cool, managed to make himself look like a right prat.

Bolt's a funny one - Cocky as f*ck, so I ought to hate him, yet somehow he's lovable.

Some have got it and some haven't. He's got it. I don't go in for hero worship but I do like to see people doing their best and if that's with a smile, all the better.

That's all I can think of. Presumably there were white only Olympics in the past? - which must have actually been crap. 100 metres in a cocktail jacket with pipe type of thing. Wife beating was probably a sport.

Wells won in Moscow when the USA boycotted the event.
