Anyone else see this? I can't see the issue - yes, there's a similar chord progression and bass drum but its a totally different and dissimilar song. Given Led Zepp 'won' the case accusing them of nicking a chord progression in Stairway to Heaven, I'm not sure the Marvin Gaye fella has much of a chance.

There are only so many chords that sound nice together especially in a simple pop tune. I'd have thought that it is virtually impossible these days to write a pop song that doesn't sound at least a bit like another.
