Teachers all over the country will be wiothdrawing their labour on 5th July. March tomorrow at 11am from Portland Place. Here's some reasons why: 1. It's not really about pay. 2. The white paper 3. What is performance-related pay? 4. Why should non-teachers care about teachers pay and conditions? 5. What's the problem with academies and free schools?
6. Qualified teachers V unqualified teachers

Just to let you know that the turnout for the NUT ballot for strike action was 24.5%. My wife who was a teacher for 35 years was NOT in the NUT - she was in ATL.

Thanks for giving us poor parents f**k all notice of this strike. It is tough enough being 2 working parents without this hand grenade chucked into the mix. How to alienate those who may agree with you.
