I'm currently laid up in a hospital, and noticed on the TV that Lewis Hamilton is the new face of L'Oreal menexpert. Why the hell do they think having that prick will make me want their product more ?

These marketing people get paid thousands but are utterly clueless. Surely as a business you don't want to alienate consumers, yet look at Nivea, official sponsor of Liverpool. Instantly large % will not buy their product simply because of this.

I know people working at M&S and they say how down to earth their underwear model David Gandy is. He may well be, but I am not buying any underwear with his semi naked picture on it.

Or does this appeal to youngsters, I am now truly out of date at the age of 40.
