What's really disturbing is that cretins like this are allowed to vote (well, except while he's inside, obviously) and thus indirectly have an influence on my life. Kill the c*nt.

According to that report, he made an 'unprovoked attack from behind' on the victim. Now he is going to prison. Karma can be a bitch.

Was jailed in in 2010 for seven and a half years for serious drug supply offences. I don't even know why they bother with these false jail terms anymore. His girlfriend fancied the soldier, apparently, and was sexting him. So rather than front up his lady he launched a bitch attack on the poor fella.

Because the function of government has become to 'sound good' and not deliver. I have no problem with the idea of early release and parole as something you earn in prison. What disturbs me is that early release and parole are something that's now used to imprison more people, without building more prisons etc. England Prevails....

In some cultures you're allowed to give her a "light beating" for that kind of behaviour. But no gloating on social media about it.

This knobend was always going to fcuk up and end up in jail again. Just look at his previous history and behaviour during this incident. Sadly it took the judge two goes to get to the right verdict that he really should have arrived at the first time.

What is it with Cornwall and their dislike for the Military, it was not that long ago a young soldier, Dave Cernow was kicked to death in Truro after a night out. Gladly the scumbag was sent down.

It should never have been suspended in the first place. Unprovoked attack + previous = prison. Hope he enjoys getting his facebook notifications in 12 months.

Indeed, the moment the judge has ascertained that its an unprovoked attack, irrespective of previous, it should be treated as custodial. Problem is, we're hell bent on sending people to prison, provided we don't actually have to pay for the prisons. These days someone goes in for assault, someone gets time off their sentence to make way for them. The guy got 7.5 years in 2010, in my book, he still has time left to serve on that as well. No one should get 'early release' unless they do something 'spectacular' in prison. The best you should ever get is parole. Rehabilitation can't be served or facilitated without incentive. As it stands it seems like everyone serves no more then 50% of their sentence. But we need to properly fund prisons, and the prison and probation services.
