Stephane Sessegnon (31) has nearly always impressed when played for WBA - now Tony Pulis has let him go. Although age is not on his side, still a very mobile, hardworking midfielder with an eye for a goal. Would not mind seeing him with the Eagles!

No thank you. If he's not considered good enough for WBA then why would we need him.

Generally I wouldn't take Pulis releasing an attacking player as a mark of that player's value. If he had the chance he'd play eight centre backs hoofing it up to two Peter Crouch's up front. That being said apparently Sessegnon is on quite hefty wages and is on the verge of turning 32. Would probably rather we chased Andros Townsend or someone like that.

Not a terrible shout on a free with maybe a 2 year deal. Again though I'm not too sure he improves us that much, he's at about the same level as Puncheon I'd say, we need to sign players that are actually going to make us better now rather than carrying on with signing squad players. I do also think we have a bit of an ageing squad so I would imagine we'll be looking at younger targets predominantly.

He's one of their best players. Gladly take him, huge improvement on Lee and Mutch. We already have Punch, Wilf and Bolasie in those positions so we don't need a superstar, just extra competition, Sessengon fits that bill.

If he plays like he has this season (whenever I've seen him) SS is an improvement!
