No - not deceased . . .

Former Crystal Palace, QPR and Coventry manager Iain Dowie has been appointed regional sales manager for a company which "undertakes homebuyers reports, building surveys and valuations". (Coventry Telegraph)

So they think you'd buy a valuation from a convicted liar? His new employers must be a little bit stupid.

Sydenham by birth. Selhurst by the Grace of God.

Bit weird. Doesn't seem to go too well for ex-Palace managers. Hart out of management, Taylor a joke, Freedman on the dole, Burley lasted two games at Apollon Limissol, which sounds like floor cleaner.

Only Warnock seems to have done alright.

Most of them seem to have been sacked more times than a Customer Service representative diagnosed with Tourettes.

I forgot he had a high level of academic qualification (Masters in Engineering).

Which is ironic given Palace was intended to be his last job.

Good on him. He could easily have stayed on the gravy train and the old boys' network of punditry, but has actually decided to do something different and take the plunge in a new profession.

Still a lying Goonie-loving toad, though, but good on him.
