Shameful, if true as this would be another example of PC fascism stifling free speech:

If it has violent/homophobic/racist/misogynistic lyrics, then of course it should be banned.

Jamaica is the most bigoted country I've ever been to. Jamaica and West Indian culture has some real issues.
3 visits to Jamaica, and 3 times I've been left shaking my head at some of the views the locals seem to think acceptable.
The homophobia is rampant.

Music banned because its linked to crime and disorder - How did we ever get through the 60s, 70s, 80s and 90s....

Absurd decision.

Maybe homophobia/racism/sexism was more accepted back then... I'm not sure I wanna go back to those days.

I remember hearing about 10 years ago bars needed a licence to play the latest R&B.

Having a black dad and Irish mum was not fun in the decades you mention... we evolve and move forwards. All bigotry should be confronted not just the type that sells papers/advertising

So you confront something by banning it?

Wife beating may be socially acceptable in Sheffield, but it is a different matter in Cheltenham

What other music should we ban?

'Saturday nights all right for fighting'?
The entire punk genre?
'The fairytale of anew York' because it contains the word 'faggott'?

Who decides upon the censorship and what should be banned?
