I live just down the road in chichester but have been to aldwick a few times, although the part I was going to was an estate (like any other) the outskirts looked okay.
Nice big park at the bottom of Regents way (which is opposite the estate I mentioned but in the nice outskirt)

Lets face it mate, it could be riddled with aliens and it would still beat Croydon...

Rustington would suit you better

Or surrounding areas like Felpham or Middleton

Football wise you have 'Bognor Regis Town' who are currently 6th in 'Ryman Premier'. We actually signed Simon Rodger from them all those years ago.

There is also Pagham, currently 7th in Premier Division of the 'Southern Combination League' (Formerly Sussex County League). I understand that Joel Ward's brother used to play for them a while back.

Bit further east. Got friends who moved last year to Angmering Village. On a modern estate but seems a very pleasant location.

Angmering is lot quieter since they built the bypass.

Many a night I have staggered from the The Spotted Cow back to my sister's farm across the muddy and cow pat littered fields...

Having lived in Bognor for several years, you may find West Meads area useful in that it has a small precinct with a doctor's surgery, dentist, chemists, vets and a post office and good transport links.
Bognor town is on the up with much improved shopping facilities and has fabulous walking and cycling on its popular promenade
House prices are very reasonable and The Regis School (senior) apparently has a very good track record of exam success.
Hope this helps.

Managed by Paul Hinshelwood's son in law
