Gay rugby I play at a good level in this country, so I am inviting you down for a session. PM me for details. We also had a former u18 England player come down thinking he was the man. He left in tears an hour later after being battered to f*** on the line of scrimmage. I also went down to a rugby club in our off season to get fit near to me and was told I tackle "too hard".

I play left tackle normally but sometimes switch to right guard next to the other tackle if we run a big formation next to the other tackle for short yardage situation. I also have about half the reps at DT on the dark side. Oh and I'm third string punter haha! Absolutely love the sport it takes so much awareness and skill and the physicality element is like nothing else.

I'd say we pass about 40% of the time- the routes and plays are quite straight forward but we do have a fair amount of screen plays. A few QBs i've played with have been out in Europe and were even in the NFLE development program but you're right most in this country are undersized as any big boys are drafted into the trenches or maybe at tight end if they are lucky. The main downside is it is a very expensive sport to play as everything has to be shipped over. Edited by Pawson Palace (25 Jan 2016 4.14pm)

Edited by Pawson Palace (25 Jan 2016 4.14pm) yes the cost has to be tough over there. well as a fellow lineman, you know it's hard to see "highlights" from our ilk. but if you're into such things, check out aaron donald. **full disclosure*** he's from my school. but it's not often you see a defensive tackle who has highlight film. his technique is phenomenal. plays how you wish you could. and then there's my favorite quote for a lineman. **also from my school but he's a hall of fame so it's ok** Edited by nairb75 (26 Jan 2016 2.57am)
