The obvious one to pick would be All The Young Dudes - Mott The Hoople or Man Who Sold the World - Lulu /Nirvana. I'm going a bit leftfield with this one though.

That Canadian astronaut covering Space Oddity was pretty special but only if you watch the video with it.
