I sat there watching the Palace v Swansea game yesterday and it got me thinking. Pape Souare always puts balls into the box from the left. Most of them balls get defended because we haven't got the Crouch/Carroll type of player in the box. We also have Zaha, Bolasie, Puncheon, Cabaye and even Wardy putting balls into the box so I think Peter Crouch would be a great signing to have. He would really suit our style and score goals in a team like ours IMO. Even to have someone like him on the bench for us to chance the dimension of the game a bit would be great. Does anyone else agree?

Wickham and Chamakh (if they can stay fit) can perform this role. Lets go for Zaza on loan and Slimani. These two would add a lot of goal power. Given that our strikers have scored 1 goal between them so far, and Bamford has gone back to Chelsea, I think we need 2 proven goal scorers in January

The thing is, 1 goal is 1 goal more than Zaza and Slimani have ever scored in the Premier League. Not saying they're not both good players but right now six months of Crouch, a proven, experienced PL goalscorer who can hit the ground running with no adjustments needed might be the perfect short-term fix.

Sydenham by birth. Selhurst by the Grace of God.

Rather Zaza on loan and Adebayor on a six month contract.

Can't see him leaving Stoke unless its for a big payday contract. I think he's happy there essentially semi-retired, earning a decent wage, and not actually having to play.

Yeah, I think he’s on a pretty astronomical wage at Stoke, otherwise I’d be all for it.
